Margaret has been a childminder for almost 20 years. Prior to the coronavirus outbreak she provided 3 days of care to three under five year olds and one under one year old.

When lockdown was imposed all of Margaret’s clients handed in their notice. She remained open, reducing her maximum capacity to 4 children but for the first 7 weeks she received no bookings and had no income.

She heard about Flexible Childcare Service Scotland’s new software, Caerus. As soon as she registered Margaret started receiving her first enquiries for almost two months.
